Strawberry Blonds = Fun Times!

A couple of weeks ago, Allison and I got to spend some time with our dear friends the Adams sisters! They are down here helping there Mame and she doesn't live to far from us. :D

Elizabeth, who is my age, thought up the neat idea to do a photo booth. So I grabbed a few props for us to use.
Here are some of our creative photo's. Enjoy and laugh right along with us! ;)

Tourists

There is no such thing as visiting the Adams girls
with out some sort of coffee involved!

Frappuccino's are our top favorite!
No, pun intended... :)

Coffee Gals

Like I said, we were very creative. :D

I brought along a few of Allie's really neat old cameras!

40's style hair do's

Wow! We look different!

Mini C.A.P.T.U.R.E.

At the end of April, my sister Allison and her friend Laura Adams, did a mini C.A.P.T.U.R.E. We focused on refining our lessons on portraiture, which we had learned from the previous year in the C.A.P.T.U.R.E. workshop.   My friend Hannah and her mother and myself attend the class together and I must say, we had a blast! Here are a few of my favorites that I photographed! :D

We also worked on lighting. This is a photo,
with defused lighting. Meaning, not in any kind of direct sunlight.

This is Back Lighting, where the light is all
in the back of your subject.

This is somewhat defused, but you can tell that the light is
bouncing off the ground onto the subjects

Capturing more than one person in a photograph
is a lot of fun, but it can be hard to. You don't want all your
models to be in the exact same pose, so make sure they are
standing, sitting, ect, in different positions

Oh, and a good note to keep in mind, make sure
you make your subjects laugh. They make
the best photo's!

I had this photo planned out in my head and it
turned out exactly the way I wanted it to! Which, in
photography can be rather difficult sometimes!

One of my personal favorites:
Field of Depth

Our wonderful instructors with their Canon's!

Hope you enjoyed!

A Visit from Dear Friends and Sunday Fellowship

Hannah and Esther came to TX the middle of April to play in a wedding and a concert. We were thrilled to see our dear sisters in the Lord again! :D

Allison accompanied the girls to take pictures
of them playing, for there website.

We took the girls with us to church and afterwards
we met at one of the family's house for
a fellowship meal.

And we had lots of fun taking pictures!

My friend Hannah and I had decided to
match that same day.

We picked matching outfits with scarves
 and Anne and Diana hairstyles!

I'm working on self portrait photography and
Allie jumped in at the right moment!!! :D

Anne of Green Gables! Sort of! ;)

Camera Wars!!
